Maple Bank, located in Champlin, has been recognized as a SBA Top Lender.
“It is an honor to receive the SBA Top Lender Award,” said Brian Borgerding, President and CEO of Maple Bank. “Maple Bank Business Bankers listen carefully to businesses, learning their business plans and goals, understanding their needs, and creating custom solutions that fit. SBA loans are one of the many tools we offer a business that is looking to expand, purchase real estate or equipment, and take advantage of other opportunities. As a community bank, our decisions are made locally and our customers work directly with decision-makers. We value the strong relationships we have with our customers.”
Nancy Libersky, SBA’s Minnesota District Director commented, “SBA lenders work hard every day to help small businesses start, grow and succeed. We guarantee the loans, but it is the banks … our incredibly strong community-based lenders, who put money in the hands of business owners. These dollars are creating new businesses and new jobs in the state every day.”
SBA honored 11 lenders throughout Minnesota at their Annual Lender’s Conference, for their commitment to helping small businesses succeed. Maple Bank received their award in the Small Lender category, based on their asset size as obtained from the 2016 Minnesota Banker Association Bank Directory, and loan volume of guaranteed approved loans from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
Minnesota is currently ranked 11th in the number of SBA loan guarantees and 16th in the number of dollars guaranteed out of 68 district offices nationwide.
