Hennepin County Fair offers a lot to do in one place

The Hennepin County Fair this year will offer a lot to see and do in one place — a demolition derby, the Crossfire Variety Band, Swedish Immigrant Trunk Demonstration, numerous shows for kids, Gopher State Carnival and more.

Between attractions, fair goers will have a choice of traditional fair cuisine, such as funnel cakes, cheese curds, pizza and beer.

The fair is returning to its traditional location, Corcoran Lions Park, 7205 County Road 101, at the intersection of County Roads 101 and 10. The grounds will be open Thursday, June 18, from 4 to 11 p.m.; Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
