Alleged shoplifter arrested for assaulting Rogers Kohls employee

Rogers Police arrested a man for allegedly shoplifting at Kohl’s and assaulting an employee Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Officers responded to Kohl’s for a male shoplifter who eventually assaulted the Kohl’s employee during the apprehension attempt.

Once the male suspect was arrested by Rogers Police, officers assisted in surveillance of the male s girlfriend who was still in the store. She had concealed a tank top in a store bathroom and left without making payment. She was stopped by police and merchandise was recovered.

Chandra McCormick, 34, was charged with misdemeanor theft by citation and released at the scene.

Jordan Nickells, 25, was booked at the Rogers Police Department for theft and assault charges and released with a court date. The suspect vehicle was impounded by Burdas Towing and held for the registered owner.
