5K Thanksgiving Pradakshina

NOV. 27 — There will be a 5K Thanksgiving Pradakshina Thursday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. at the Hindu Temple of Minnesota, 10530 Troy Lane N. in Maple Grove. Thanksgiving dinner

NOV. 27 — The Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion Riders will serving a Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner will all the fixings Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion, 260 Fourth Ave. S.E. in Osseo. Dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 to 10 and free for kids ages 5 and under. The funds raised will go to support a variety of different veterans organizations within the community and state that need help. International boutique

NOV. 30 — There will be an International Boutique helping fight Human trafficking and AIDS Sunday, Nov. 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 9528 Rosewood Lane N. in Maple Grove. There will be products handmade by women from India, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Uganda, USA and Spain. Items for sales in holiday gifts, birthday gifts and other products. Chai tea and treats will be provided. Bring gently used or new bras for the girls non-profit in Africa.

Eat, Drink & Give

DEC. 1 — Eat, Drink & Give at Maynards Restaurant, located at 21415 136th Ave. in Rogers, Monday, Dec. 1, to support CROSS Services. During the event, 100 percent of food and beverage sales will be donated to CROSS Services. Takeout orders are encouraged and will be included in the donation. Light The Grove 

DEC. 4 — Maple Grove Hospital, 9875 Hospital Drive, is hosting their fifth annual Light the Grove event Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. This is an indoor and outdoor community event celebrating the holiday season. Bring the family and friends to help “Light the Grove” at this free event. Experience caroling, horse-drawn trolley rides and photos with Santa and his reindeer. Hot cocoa and holiday treats will also be available. The traditional lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Dress accordingly for outdoor activities. If people wish, bring a toy and/or food donation for CROSS, a non-profit organization supporting Maple Grove and surrounding communities.

Breakfast/lunch with Santa

DEC. 6 — The Maple Grove Community Organization will host its annual Breakfast and Lunch with Santa Saturday, Dec. 6. People can sign up for either breakfast or lunch, have photos taken with Santa, face painting, crafts and more. Breakfast of pastries, fruit, juice or milk is served from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at a cost of $4. A lunch of pizza, pop and cookies will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $6. Bring own camera. Candlelight memorial

MG Historical Museum Open
