CROSS Services would like to thank those in the community for their more than $18,000 worth of school supply donations which helped fill 644 backpacks, each with approximately $35 worth of school supplies. The backpacks were distributed to area families during the month of August.

In addition to the annual school supply program, CROSS Services provides food, clothing, seasonal children’s programs, financial housing support, and Meals on Wheels to families living in the communities of Corcoran, Dayton, Maple Grove, Osseo, Rogers and west Champlin.

The next special occasion donation opportunity is the CROSS 2014 Holiday Toy Shop starting Nov. 1. Sign-up for local families started Oct. 1 at the CROSS office. Organizations and businesses have the opportunity to get involved in this holiday program by becoming a toy drop off location throughout November and December as well as volunteering for sorting and distributing Dec. 19 and 20. For more information on how to get involved, call 763-425-1050.

Based in Rogers, CROSS has been operating for nearly four decades and serves more than 600 families each month. For more information, visit CROSSservices.org.
