Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from July 25, 2014 through Aug. 7, 2014.

Arrests:

A 31-year-old Burnsville man was arrested on July 31 for driving with a suspended license near 93rd Avenue and Central Avenue. He was released with a ticket.

A 43-year-old Maple Grove women was arrested on Aug. 1 on the 300 block of Seventh Street N.W. for driving with a revoked license. She was released with a ticket.

A 43-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on Aug. 1 for an outstanding warrant at Jefferson Hwy. and 93rd Ave. His vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

A 30-year-old Fairbault man was arrested on Aug. 2 for providing a false name to a police officer and driving without a valid license. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

A 22-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on 85th Ave. for driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 2. His vehicle was impounded and he was transported the Hennepin County Jail.

A traffic stop was conducted on Aug. 2 for a minor traffic violation and three juvenile males and one juvenile female were cited for curfew violations. Each teen was released to a parent.

Osseo Police arrested a 39-year-old Maple Grove woman on Aug. 3 on the 600 block of Fourth Street S.E. for driving while intoxicated. She was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Aug. 3 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for a Hennepin County Warrant. The suspect was able to post bail and was released with a court date.

A 27-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on Aug. 3 on County Road 81 in Osseo for driving with a suspended license. He was released with a ticket.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded a verbal domestic on the 200 block of Seventh Avenue S.E. on July 26. The incident was mediated by police. No arrests were made.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal domestic on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on July 26. The incident was mediated by police. No arrests were made.

A theft of money was reported stolen to Osseo Police on July 28 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic disturbance incident on July 29 on the 50 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. No arrests were made, however the case is under investigation for possible charges.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic disturbance incident on July 31 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The incident was mediated and no arrests were made. The case has been forwarded to the City Prosecutor for possible charges.

A noise complaint was reported to Osseo Police on July 31 on the 200 block of First Avenue N.W.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal domestic on Aug. 1 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The incident was mediated by police. Neither party wanted to press charges.

Osseo Police responded to a possible car prowler on Aug. 3 on the 100 block of Broadway Street East. No contact was made with a suspect and no vehicles appeared to have been broken into.

Osseo Police took a damage to property report on Aug. 3 at the Osseo High School. The case is under investigation by Osseo Police and the Hennepin County Crime Lab.

A car theft was reported to Osseo Police on Aug. 5 on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. The vehicle has been entered into a nation-wide data base.

Osseo Police responded to a open door at a closed business on Aug. 6 on the 300 block of Central Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry. The building was secured by police.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 90-year-old male with severe pain on the 200 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. on Aug. 1. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 103-year-old female having trouble breathing on Aug. 1 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 96-year-old female having trouble breathing on Aug. 4 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 76-year-old female having a possible stroke on Aug. 7 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a hit and run property damage accident on July 28 on the 50 block of Central Avenue. There are no suspects.
