Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from July 11, 2014 through July 24, 2014.

Arrests:

A 30-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on July 17 on the 8600 block for warrants. He was able to post bail at the scene and was released with a court date.

A 28-year-old male from Red Lake was arrested on July 23 on the 300 block of County Road 81 for driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a citation.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to a intrusion alarm at a business on July 13 on the 200 block of County Road 81. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a possible appliance fire on July 14 on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. N.E. There was no loss or damage and the house was aired out by Osseo Fire.

Osseo Police were dispatched to a noise complaint from a vehicle on July 15 on the 800 block of Third Street N.E. Contact was made with the vehicle owner of the car and advised to keep the noise down.

A theft of checks was reported stolen to Osseo Police on July 22 from a business on the 200 block of Central Ave. A suspect has been identified and the case is under investigation for criminal charges.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on July 23 on the 200 block of Sixth Ave. S.E. No problems were found.

An iPhone was reported stolen to Osseo Police on July 24 from the stadium at Osseo High School. There are no suspects

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 82-year-old male having a possible heart attack on July 11 on the 100 block of Sixth Ave. N.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 89-year-old male that had fallen down on July 13 on the 60 block of Central Ave. He was transported to the hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 82-year-old male with severe back pain on July 6 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 51-year-old male with trouble breathing on July 18 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 74-year-old male that fell on the July 20 on the 200 block of County Road 81. He was transported to the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Osseo Police responded to a 96-year-old that fell down on the sidewalk at Sixth Street N.W. & Central Ave. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 50-year-old female having a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on July 24. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on the 100 block of Central Ave. on July 14. Both drives exchanged information and no charges were filed.

Osseo Police responded to a property damage hit and run accident of a parked car on the 100 block of Regan Lane on July 16. There are no suspects.
