Champlin community ‘sticks’ together during Night to Unite

Senator John Hoffman (DFL – Champlin) will join families, first responders and community businesses at neighborhood events to celebrate Night to Unite on Tuesday, Aug. 5. The annual event brings neighbors and public safety officials together to raise crime prevention awareness and build a stronger community.

Senator Hoffman will once again sponsor the ‘Night to Unite’ sticker contest for area children. The stickers should illustrate how communities are stronger when police, firefighters and neighbors know each other and work together to keep everyone safe.

“This is a night I look forward to every summer. It’s about coming together as neighbors and showing the strength of our community,” said Sen. Hoffman. “I look forward to having lunch and giving a tour of the Capitol to the young person (and parents) whose sticker drawing is selected.”

Sticker illustrations can be sent to Sen. Hoffman at 328 State Capitol, St. Paul, MN 55155 or emailed to sen.john.hoffman@senate.mn. The sticker illustrations must be received by July 25. Please forward this information to area families.
