Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from June 27, 2014 through July 10, 2014.

Arrests:

A 23-year-old Champlin man was arrested on June 27 for trespassing and driving with a suspended license on the 100 block of Central Ave. He was issued a citation and released.

A 17-year-old Champlin teen was arrested on June 29 near Hwy. 169 for DWI and under 21 not a drop law. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was impounded.

A 26-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested on July 6 for a felony violation of a court order and fleeing police on foot on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

A 52-year-old Osseo man was arrested on July 6 for fifth degree domestic assault after police responded to an apartment on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive for a report of a physical domestic. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Incidents:

An assault was reported to Osseo Police on July 2 from a business on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy. The incident was mediated by police and no charges were filed.

A forgery was reported to Osseo Police on July 2 from a business on the 600 block of Central Ave. The case is under investigation by Osseo Police and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

A juvenile male was served with an official trespass notice from the 10200 block of 93rd Ave. on July 7 after refusing to leave the property when asked. He was also issued a citation for driving with a suspended license.

A damage to property was reported on July 8 on the 300 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. The victim reported that a firework landed on this car causing the sunroof to shatter. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to an audible burglary alarm at a business on the 100 block of County Road 81 on July 8. Officers located an unsecure door. The building was searched and locked up by a key holder. No items appeared missing.

Osseo Police responded to a road rage incident on July 8 on the 200 block of Fifth Avenue S.E. The incident was mediated by police. No charges were filed.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old female that fell down on June 29 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. The patient was transported to the Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 77-year-old female having a possible stroke on July 1 on the 100 block of First Street N.E. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 82-year-old female that was unconscious on July 2 on the 600 block of Central Ave. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 52-year-old male that fell and was unconscious on July 7 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 82-year-old female having a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on July 9. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

A property damage hit and run accident was reported to Osseo Police on June 29 that occurred on the 500 block of Second Ave. N.E. A state accident report was filed.
