Madi Anderson and Katelyn Kemmetmeuller of Rogers got top awards in Mississippi 8 Conference softball after the Royals placed first with a 12-0 record.

Anderson, senior second baseman, was named Most Valuable Player by coaches. She earned her third all-conference award while hitting .354 overall. She finished her career with RHS records for hits (108) and steals (41), while ranking second with 56 runs. She had a .366 career average.

Kemmetmueller was named Pitcher of the Year. The sophomore had a 13-3 record and 0.71 ERA overall as the Royals won 20 games, a team record.

The Royals selected Madie Mikolich as team MVP. The junior catcher sparkled defensively while hitting .321 with three homers.
