Rogers Lions under new leadership

At a recent special awards dinner, the Rogers Lions Club transferred leadership where outgoing President Lion Brian Busch, right, hands over the gavel to incoming President Lion Tom Gustafson.

At the special awards night, several Lions members were given awards for there dedicated service to the Rogers Community throughout the year. Four “Charter” members received 100% attendance awards meaning these members have not missed a monthly Lions functions since the club was organized in October, 1976. They include, left to right, Lions Mark Scharber, Jack Hines and Harold Trombley and, not pictured, Jerome Gmach. Of the 135 members of the Rogers Lions Club, 73 members were given 100% attendance awards.
