Champlin hosts ribbon cutting at Andrews

Councilors Ryan Karasek and Bruce Miller assisted Mayor ArMand Nelson during the ribbon cutting ceremony at Andrew’s Park Wednesday, June 25. Guest performer Jonathan Hersch sang the National Anthem and ArMand Nelson sang America, The Beautiful before the ribbon was cut.

Residents and families came out to test drive the new splash pad and enjoy cake and cookies under the shade of the park’s new picnic shelter. The city also sold concessions at the event, held a raffle and gave out prizes and balloons to Champlin’s youth.
