Sister Laurice (Rosella) Beaudry

age 84, currently of Osseo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 17th, 2013. Between the Franciscan Order and the Order of Sisters for Christian Community, she has been a nun for over 68 years. She also has a Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Masters in Communication. Over 50 years of working with the elderly, her philosophy on aging has always been in short to treat each individual with honor, respect and reverence that is fitting to his/her dignity as a human being . She also carried this forward to her work with troubled youth. With over 30 years and helping over 2,700 youth, she always had time to make each person feel loved and cared for. She also loved music and playing her accordion, piano and guitar. She was a member of the Crow River Singers. We also cant forget her love for the card game 500 which she played and was a member of the Albertville Old Neighbors Card Club. Preceeded in death by her brothers, Wilfred, Elmer & Lester; sisters, Marian, Ellen, Leona & Ora. Survived by brother, Bernard (Pat) Beaudry; sister-in-law ,Evelyn Beaudry; and many other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, July 12, at The Church of St. joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Lane N., Maple Grove, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment St. Vincents Cemetery, Osseo.
