Champlin men rushed to hospital after car/motorcycle crash

Dayton Police officers responded to a report of a car and motorcycle crash at the intersection of Dayton River Road and Balsam Lane.

The driver of the motorcycle was unresponsive, according to a report from the Dayton Police. The driver of the car was also injured

Officers and first responders provided medical assistance to both victims when they arrived on scene Monday. The motorcyclist, a 43 year-old Champlin man, was transported to North Memorial Hospital. The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Champlin man, was transported by ambulance to North Memorial.

A third vehicle was damaged in the crash, but the driver was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation and the condition of the drivers is not known. Agencies assisting were the Champlin Police Department, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Dayton Police and Fire Departments and North Ambulance and Air Care.
