Mother nature continues to play a mean trick on area sports teams, including the Crimson girls golf team. The wet and cold spring has reduced the Crimson’s outdoor practice days.
The Crimson managed to play their first match last week against Elk River. The Crimson battled rain, cold, and wind to score a rare victory against the Lady Elks. Senior co-captain Jillian Klasen posted an 8 over par 44 to take medalist honors for the match.
The varsity will complete against Park Center, Osseo, Armstrong, Blaine and Centennial this week.
