NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE EXTENSION OF ROGERS DRIVE FROM VEVEA LANE TO BROCKTON LANE AND FOR THE EXTENSION OF UTILITIES ALONG BROCKTON LANE FROM ROGERS DRIVE TO LOT 1, BLOCK 1 KINGHORN INDUSTRIAL PARK
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Rogers will meet in the Rogers Community Room located at 21201 Memorial Drive, Rogers, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, to consider the making of street and utility improvements for the extension of Rogers Drive between Vevea Lane and Brockton Lane and for the extension of utilities along Brockton Lane from Rogers Drive to Lot 1, Block 1 Kinghorn Industrial Park.
Improvements under consideration include grading, street, utility, ponding, and intersection improvements; and other necessary appurtenant work pursuant to Minnesota Statutes sections 429.011 to 429.111.
The area proposed to be assessed for a portion of the improvements includes the property abutting Rogers Drive from Vevea Lane to Brockton Lane and the properties abutting the west side of Brockton Lane north of Lot 1, Block 1 Kinghorn Industrial Park. The estimated cost of the improvements is $3,533,300.
A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. In addition, a reasonable estimate of the total amount to be assessed and a description of the methodology used to calculate the individual assessments for affected parcels will be available at the hearing.
Any person who desires to provide comments with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting. Written or oral comments will be considered.
