He attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks where earned a BS in accounting, a CPA and his Juris Doctorate degree. Lloyd was a veteran of the Vietnam war where he served as a captain. Lloyd worked as an attorney in Neenah, WI, Fairmont and the Mpls area. He retired from Thrivent Financial in 2006 but continued a small law practice. He was a lifelong learner and belonged to several professional associations. He and his wife were active members of their church, Lord of Life Lutheran church. He enjoyed family gatherings at home and at their treasured cabin where he taught all the grand kids to fish. We all enjoyed our time on the pontoon with Papa as captain. We will miss his wise words, kind heart, funny stories and generous spirit.
