Maple Grove Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city during the week of March 21, 2014, through March 27, 2014. Refer to city’s website Crime Mapping Section for additional details for the crimes of burglary, robbery, arson, theft and vehicle theft.

Friday, March 21

I-94/Maple Grove Parkway — The department responded to an individual who had been driving and pulled over and fainted. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

11200 block of 93rd Ave. — There was a report of a vehicle leaving the gas station without paying for gas.

18200 block of 66th Place — The department responded to an individual who reported a racing heartbeat and feeling dizzy. Paramedics responded.

11800 block of West Eagle Lake Road — The department responded to an individual who had been splashed with concentrated dishwashing detergent in the eyes, arms and chest. Officers assisted in flushing affected areas with water. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The suspects, Kenneth Ahearn, 60, of Minneapolis and Deborah Vaars, 53, of Minneapolis, were arrested. Trespass notices were served.

11300 block of Fountains Drive — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The suspect, Yakisha Gates, 19, of Minneapolis was arrested.

Brandon Hanna, 37, of Maple Grove was arrested for careless driving, fourth degree DUI and fourth degree DWI driving while impaired on the 6700 block of Urbandale Lane N.

Joseph Dooly, 18, of Wayzata was arrested for underage consumption on the 15200 block of 62nd Ave. N.

Derek Woodnick, 18, of Plymouth was arrested for zero tolerance- underage drinking and driving on the 15200 block of 62nd Ave. N.

Caroline Noble, 18, of Medina was arrested for underage consumption on the 15200 block of 62nd Ave. N.

Lynn Abigayle, 18, of Maple Grove was arrested for underage consumption on the 15200 block of 62nd Ave. N.

Saturday, March 22

12000 block of 80th Ave. — The department responded to an individual who was experiencing stroke symptoms. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

7800 block of County Road 101 — The department responded to an individual who had fallen and was bleeding from the head. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

12200 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The suspects, Aliesha Allen, 25, of St. Paul and Teisheeana Davis, 24, of Brooklyn Center, were arrested.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The suspects, Timothy Wallin, 56, of Brooklyn Center and Lisa Sage, 50, of Brooklyn Center, were arrested for shoplifting and warrant arrest.  A trespass notice was served.

12700 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a report of a wallet stolen out of a taxi.

7000 block of Ximines Lane — The department responded to an individual experiencing chest pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Michael Papes, 51, of Inver Grove Heights was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process and trespass notice served on the 12900 block of 63rd Ave. N.

Sunday, March 23

17700 block of 66th Ave. — The department responded to an individual experiencing stomach pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

11300 block of Fountains Drive — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business.

12100 block of 90th Ave. — The department responded to an individual who was experiencing stroke symptoms and had fallen. The individual was found by a neighbor who heard calls for help. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

10900 block of County Road 81 — There was a report of license plates stolen off of a vehicle that was parked behind a business.

12900 block of Weaver Lake Road — There was a report of a stolen cell phone.

11700 block of Fountains Way — There was a report of a wallet stolen out of a purse that was hanging on the back of a chair at a restaurant.

7300 block of Rosewood Lane — The department responded to an individual with low blood sugar. Paramedics responded.

11800 block of Fountains Way — There was a report of wallets and credit cards stolen out of an unlocked, occupied hotel room.

Monday, March 24

7900 block of Ithaca Lane — There was a report of a window broken out of a vehicle parked in a driveway.

12900 block of Weaver Lake Road — The department responded to an individual who was having trouble breathing while doing aerobics. Paramedics responded.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — The department responded to an individual who had a seizure. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

8600 block of Shadyview Court — There was a report of jewelry stolen from a residence. No forced entry was found.

12100 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business.

14900 block of 98th Ave. — There was a report of a mailbox knocked over after being hit by a car that left the scene.

14800 block of 95th Ave. — There was a report of a mailbox knocked over after being hit by a car that left the scene.

Tuesday, March 25

8700 block of Zachary Lane — The department responded to an individual who had a broken foot. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

8700 block of Zachary Lane — The department responded to an individual who had been hit with a forklift. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

Wednesday, March 26

10600 block of Boundary Creek Terrace — The department responded to an individual who had fallen down stairs. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

11200 block of 90th Ave. — The department responded to an individual who had fainted and was having trouble breathing. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

7300 block of Berkshire Way — There was a report of windows broken out of two vehicles that were parked in a driveway.

Thursday, March 27

12800 block of 93rd Ave. — The department responded to an individual experiencing chest pain. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics.

Other

There were 29 property damage and two personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.

Ann Hoaglund, 54, of Maple Grove was arrested March 16 for health safety-toxic substances on the 11800 block of 88th Avenue.

Mitchell Wilkinson, 20, of Maple Grove was arrested March 16 for underage consumption and misrepresentation of age on the 12700 block of Elm Creek Blvd.

Joseph Post, 23, of Corcoran was arrested March 17 for shoplifting and warrant arrest on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Matthew Borey, 27, of Andover was arrested March 17 for second degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, second degree DWI driving while impaired- criminal penalty and criminal damage to property on the 12200 block of Elm Creek Blvd.

Justen Parks, 33, of New Hope was arrested March 18 for shoplifting on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Trevon Prince, 18, of Maple Grove was arrested March 19 for shoplifting and trespass notice served on the 13700 block of Grove Drive N.

Rashawna Heard, 24, of Minneapolis was arrested March 19 for shoplifting, trespass notice served and giving false name to a police officer on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Joell Lester-Whitfield, 26, of Minneapolis was arrested March 19 for shoplifting and trespass notice served on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Zakiyyah Paye, 23, of Minneapolis was arrested March 19 for shoplifting and trespass notice served on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Vilaphong Sirivong, 38, of Otsego was arrested March 19 for shoplifting, trespass notice served and warrant arrest on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane N.

Daniel Quade, 54, of Stillwater was arrested March 20 for fourth degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08 and fourth degree DWI driving while impaired at I-694 and Hwy. 169.

Erich Heitman, 33, of Albertville was arrested March 20 for shoplifting on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.
