ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2014 Biosolids
Improvement Project
Wastewater Treatment Facility
St. Michael, Minnesota
Sealed proposals will be received by the City Administrator until 2:00 P.M., April 29, 2014 at the City Offices, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials to complete the 2014 Biosolids Improvement Project.
The Work includes construction of:
Chemical feed equipment, a 450,000 gallon sludge storage tank, positive displacement blowers, decant pump station, waste sludge pump station and other miscellaneous pieces of equipment, process piping and site grading.

and shall be securely sealed and shall be endorsed on the outside with the statement 2014 Biosolids Improvements Project and shall be on the Bid Form included in the specifications for the project.

Copies of the plans and specifications and other proposed contract documents are on file with the City Administrator and at the office of MFRA, Inc., 14800 28th Avenue North, Suite 140, Plymouth, Minnesota 55447. The potential bidders attention is directed to the Instructions to Bidders (IB-20.0) with regard to the pre-bid meeting for Prime Contractors scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the City of St. Michael City Hall, 11800 Town Center Drive NE, St. Michael, MN, unless otherwise modified by Addendum. The site will be open for inspection by bidders at 11:00 a.m. following the pre-bid meeting until 12:00 p.m.
Each bidder shall file with his bid a cashiers check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the bids are opened.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
