Dist279GEDgradsThe Osseo Area Schools-ISD 279 Adult Basic Education Center celebrated the GED graduation of 32 students on March 17.  School board members Teresa Lunt, Tammie Epley and Dean Henke, Superintendent Kate Maguire and Director of Community Engagement Brian Siverson-Hall joined over 200 guests to offer their congratulations. The Adult Basic Education Center provides free instruction in academic skills (reading, writing, math), GED preparation, and English language learning to adult learners. Day and evening classes are offered year round. The Adult Basic Education Center is located in the Northwest Family Service Center, 7051 Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Center.  For more information, call 763-566-5452.
