Students at Albertville Primary School collected donations during the month of February as part of the 23rd Annual Pennies for Patients program, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Students teamed together, each contributing a little and the total was an amazing $1942.87.

“Our students and staff did a great job of giving selflessly to help children and others battling cancer,” said principal Ann-Marie Foucault. She gave special thanks to Highland Bank in St. Michael for counting all the coins. “One penny acting alone doesn’t accomplish much, but when we all work together, anything is possible,” she said.
