Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Feb. 21, 2014 through March 6, 2014.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 22-year-old Minneapolis man on Feb. 25 for driving after revocation on the 100 block of First Ave. N.W. He was released at the scene with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 30-year-old Albertville man on March 1 for second degree DWI after his car was stopped for weaving and other traffic violations. He was transported to the Brooklyn Park Police Department for booking. His vehicle was impounded and is being held for forfeiture.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to several cars in the ditch calls on Feb. 21 due to heavy snow that had fallen. No injuries or were reported to any motorists.

Osseo Police responded to a civil dispute on Feb. 23 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The dispute was mediated by police and no charges were filed.

Osseo Police took a report of a possible financial transaction theft on Feb. 24 on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.E. The case is currently under investigation.

Osseo Police found an unsecure access to a construction site on the 500 block of First Ave N.W. on Feb. 24. A search of the site was done and nothing suspicious was found. The access was secured by the Police Department.

Osseo Police responded to a hold up alarm at a business on the 100 block of Central Avenue on Feb. 27. The alarm was accidently set off by an employee.

Osseo Police found an unsecure access to a business on the 300 block of Count Road 81 on March 3. A search was done of the business and nothing unusual was found. The business was secured by the Police Department.

Osseo Police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on March 4 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. Contact was made with several people in the vehicle who said they were waiting for a friend to return home. The occupants were asked to leave until their friend returns home.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to an 86-year-old female that had fallen down on Feb. 22 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 83-year-old female having a possible stroke on Feb. 23 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 29-year-old female that could not stop shaking on Feb. 25 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 57-year-old male that unintentionally overdosed on medication on Feb. 27 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. He was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 53-year-old female with abdominal pain on March 1 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 95-year-old female with severe back pain on March 2 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 68-year-old male having a possible stroke on the 200 block of Fifth Ave. S.E. on March 3. He was transported to University of Minnesota Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 83-year-old female having a possible heart attack on March 3 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 95-year-old female having a possible heart attack on March 4 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 55-year-old male having a seizure on the March 6 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on Feb. 26 on the 300 block of County Road 81. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a one-car property damage accident on Feb. 28 on the 8500 block of Jefferson Hwy. The driver of the vehicle lost control on icy roads and hit several mailboxes. The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on March 4 on the 300 block of County Road 81. The driver that caused the accident was cited for failure to yield. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident in the parking lot of Deans Market (312 Central Ave.) on March 4. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on March 5 at Second Street S.E. and Fourth Avenue S.E. The driver that caused the accident was cited for failure to yield. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.
