Annual pancake breakfast set for April 13
The Osseo Lions Club is now 70 years strong and helping the local northwest metro communities through donations to service projects. Here is a little of what the Osseo Lions have done.
In January, the Lions distributed over $27,000 to local organizations such as: Osseo Area Schools, Maple Grove Robotics Booster Club, Edgewood Education Center, Victory Riders, Reach for Resources, the Osseo Concerts and Movies in the Park (every Tuesday night all summer long), the Salvation Army, Yellow Tree Theatre, St. Vincent de Paul, Advent Lutheran, Osseo Church of the Nazarene, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Osseo United Methodist and nationally to the Hearing Lions Foundation.
The Osseo Lions will host its annual Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast April 13, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion, 260 Fourth Ave. S.E. in Osseo. Served will be all the pancakes and sausage you can eat for just $8. Costs for kids 3 to 10 to eat is $5. The Lions have discounted tickets at Deans Super Market for $7. All proceeds benefit local and national Lions projects.
If anyone would like to drop in to one of the Osseo Lions’ business meetings, they take place every second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Osseo Community Center, 415 Central Ave.
