Maple Grove Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city during the week of Feb. 28, 2014, through March 6, 2014. Refer to city website Crime Mapping Section for additional details for the crimes of burglary, robbery, arson, theft and vehicle theft.

Friday, Feb. 28

16700 block of 94th Ave. — The department responded to an individual in pain related to what the individual thought was a blood clot. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

8900 block of Kirkwood Circle — The department responded to an individual who had a rapid heartbeat and tunnel vision. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The was suspect arrested.

7100 block of Annapolis Lane —  The department responded to an individual with flu symptoms. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

11900 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business.

6600 block of Lancaster Lane — There was a report of damage to an outside doorknob.

Saturday, March 1

6700 block of Vicksburg Lane — The department responded to an individual with a rapid heartbeat and arm pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

11800 block of Fountains Way — There was a report of damage to a television and a laptop in a hotel room. The suspect was arrested.

12000 block of 80th Ave. — The department responded to an individual in pain due to gall stones. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

12600 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — The department responded to an individual who had fallen in a parking lot and had a head injury. The individual was transported to the hospital.

13700 block of 83rd Way — There was a report of pry marks on a door to a business. No entry was made.

16700 block of 91st Ave. — There was a report of a business burglary. A laptop and checks stolen from inside.

14300 block of 91st Ave. — The department responded to an individual having a heart attack. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

David Conway, 24, of Minneapolis was arrested for first degree criminal damage to property on the 11800 block of Fountains Way.

Kathy Hase, 36, of Big Lake was arrested for obstructing the legal process on the 13500 block of 80th Circle N.

Robert Brooks, 18, of Corcoran was arrested for shoplifting on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Sunday, March 2

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — There were two reports of merchandise stolen from business. The suspects were arrested.

12900 block of Weaver Lake Road — There was a report of a stolen cell phone.

11200 block of 100th Place — The department responded to an individual having chest pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Monday, March 3

11600 block of 73rd Ave. — There was a report of a burglarized business. A projector was stolen from inside.

8300 block of Rice Lake Road — The department responded to an individual who was shaking due to low blood sugar. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

9500 block of Blackoaks Lane — There was a report of a burglarized business. Cash was stolen from inside.

9500 block of Blackoaks Lane  — There was a report of a burglarized business. Multiple laptops were stolen from inside.

6900 block of Wedgewood Lane — There was a report of a vehicle leaving a gas station without paying for gas.

9400 block of Dunkirk Lane — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a business. The suspect was arrested.

Tuesday, March 4

6400 block of Jewel Lane — The department responded to an individual feeling faint. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

10600 block of Wellington Lane — The department responded to an individual who was sick and unable to walk. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

6600 block of Juneau Lane — The department responded to an individual with blurred vision and nausea. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Wednesday, March 5

6600 block of Wedgewood Lane — The department responded to an individual who dizzy and having chest pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

12000 block of 80th Ave. — The department responded to an individual with hip pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Thursday, March 6

14800 block of 94th Place — The department responded to an individual with severe back pain. The individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Other

There were 50 property damage and two personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.

Ryan Brown, 34, of Maple Grove was arrested Feb. 23 for fourth degree DWI driving while impaired, fourth degree DUI and careless driving on the 13900 block of Grove Drive N.

Kylie Smith, 35, of Maple Grove was arrested Feb. 24 for interfering with a 911 call and domestic assault on the 7500 block of Fountains Court N.

Tyler Berres, 22, of Maple Grove was arrested Feb. 25 for shoplifting on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane N.

Mandie Coburn, 35, of Brooklyn Park was arrested Feb. 25 for driving after revocation and shoplifting on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.

Chad Berry, 31, of Palm Beach, Fla. was arrested Feb. 26 for fifth degree possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle at County Road 81 and Maple Grove Parkway.

William Grefe, 73, of Maple Grove was arrested Feb. 27 for third degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, third degree DWI driving while impaired-criminal penalty and driving after revocation at 87th Avenue and Rick Lake Road N.
