The Rogers girls hockey team lost its regular-season finale to the Duluth Northern Stars 5-3 on Saturday in Duluth. Peatyn Levis notched two goals and Kaitlyn Braeidy had the other for Rogers (12-10-3).

Coach Dale Sager said his team was a bit flat after the  long trip and didn’t get the bounces while Duluth made the shots they needed. He used backup goalie Emily Bjorgan along with regular goalie Michelle Klimstra. Duluth has an 11-13-1 record. The Royals will open Section 5AA on Wednesday.
