Fun in February at Rockford Public Library

The Rockford Public Library has some fun offerings for the month of February.

Paper Bag Scrap Album Make & Take – Feb. 8 — Join Local artist Brenda Davis at the Rockford Public Library and make clever Valentine’s Day cards and a mini scrapbook album out of a common brown bag. This program will be on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to noon, and is for ages 10 and older. The attendance limit is 10 and registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Rockford Library.

Guest Reader Storytime – Feb. 10 — Members of Rockford Junior Girl Scout Troop 13725 will be guest readers at the Rockford Public Library Storytime on Monday, Feb. 10, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Children and their families are invited to visit the library for crafts, activities, stories and songs with the local Rockford Girl Scouts.

Preschool Storytime – Feb. 12 — Rockford Public Library’s Preschool Storytime series for young children continues on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 11:15 a.m. to noon. Preschoolers will enjoy crafts, activities, and stories with a music theme. Preschool Storytime is also offered Feb. 19 and 26.
