Lindsay Dorr ruled the lanes with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Rogers Royals defeated North Branch 69-47 at home Monday evening.

“It was a nice team win. We took it inside a lot and Lindsay got some nice passes,” said coach Karlee Anderson.

Bailey Miller added 12 points and Taylor Anderson 11 for the Royals (5-3 conference, 12-7 overall).

Courtney Selbitschka led the Vikings (1-5 conference, 9-8 overall) with 11 points.

In earlier action, the Monticello Magic got the last two baskets on open layups and held off the Royals 60-56 on Thursday evening.

“We had the lead, but we made a couple mental errors at the end on those layups,” said Rogers coach Karlee Anderson. “We had a real good game with them.”

Emily Gruber scored 15 points and Grace Sawatzke 13 for the Magic (6-1 conference, 14-4 overall).

Bailey Miller, junior guard, scored a personal-best 18 points to lead Rogers (4-3 conference, 11-7 overall). Taylor Paulsrud scored 12, Lindsay Dorr 11 with nine rebounds, and Bella Wilson 10.

The Royals were 9-for-18 on free shots, 5-for-13 on 3-pointers.

Rogers was to play at Cambridge-Isanti on Thursday.
