Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Jan. 10, 2014 through Jan. 23, 2014.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 30-year-old Burnsville man on Jan. 20 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. Police were dispatched on a report of an assault at a business and routine checks reveled the suspect had an outstanding warrant. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Incidents:

A theft of tools from an unattached garage was reported to Osseo Police on Jan. 10 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The case is under investigation by Osseo Police.

Osseo Police responded to a suspicious occupied vehicle on Jan. 17 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. Responding officers identified the persons in the vehicle and also found a small amount of narcotics in the vehicle.

A verbal dispute on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. was reported on Jan. 18 to Osseo Police. The incident was mediated by police and no arrests were made.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 59-year-old male with a possible head injury after a fall on Jan. 13 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 92-year-old female that had fallen and possible broke a bone in her arm on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Jan. 13. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 81-year-old male that had fallen and injured his head on the 200 block of Seventh Avenue N.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old female that had fallen and injured her knee on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Jan. 20. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 84-year-old male with a uncontrolled nose bleed on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Jan. 23. He was transported to Unity Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two car property damage accident on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Jan. 14. Both drivers exchanged information and the driver that caused the accident was cited for following to close. A state accident report was filed.

A single car property damage accident was reported to Osseo Police on Jan. 15 on the 100 block of Central Avenue. The driver of the vehicle lost control after hitting a patch of ice. There are no charges pending.

A single car property damage accident was reported to Osseo Police on Jan. 18 on the 100 block of Central Avenue. A vehicle hit a decorative light post after swerving to avoid a collision with another vehicle.

A two-car property damage hit and run accident of a parked car was reported to Osseo Police on Jan. 21. A witness wrote down the license plate from the striking vehicle. A citation was issued for leaving the scene of an accident to the driver that caused the accident. A state accident report was filed.
