- At each station set up around the school kids and parents talked about the importance of giving to those in need. Kailey Layde decorates a paper piggy bank to take home and collect change. Later, families that have been collecting change are asked to donate their piggy bank savings to their local churches and charities.
Hayden Hafstad adds a sparkley “Joy” sticker to his paper bag to be donated to seniors receiving Meals on Wheels. He spent time drawing and adding stickers to the bag and learning the meaning of what it means to have joy this season.
Kailey Ginter colors a stocking to be filled and donated to C.R.O.S.S. The kids heard stories all week of the importance of giving and happily surrendered their stockings to those in need.
