On Nov. 19, at 1:25 p.m. there was a report of a theft of shotguns, rifles, tools, generator and chainsaw reported on the 900 block of Nelson Road. Hennepin County Crime Lab responded and processed the scene for evidence.
On Nov. 20, at 12:02 p.m. there was a report of a stolen Honda Enduro motorcycle from the 6000 block of Drake Drive.
On Nov. 25, at 1:21 p.m. Richard Robert Repke, 52, of Monticello was cited for a third degree DWI refusal at Highway 12/Valley Road.
On Nov. 26, at 8:32 p.m. there was a report of a vehicle was stalled on the side of the road County Road 110 and County Road 6. A large black garbage bag was lodged under the vehicle. The driver had a large stick in hand trying to dislodge the bag. The large garbage bag was full of deer bones and trimmings from a carcass.
On Nov. 27, at 12:02 a.m. a driver was stopped for speeding at County Road 11/County Road 90. Driver, 17-year-old male from Delano was cited for speed, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of small amount of marijuana.
On Nov. 30, at 8:13 a.m. there was a report of a second mail box damaged on the 4800 block Sunset Lane.
On Nov. 30, at 11:27 a.m. there was a report of a mailbox damaged on the 4900 block of Sunset Lane.
On Nov. 19, at 7:27 p.m. there was a complaint of loud music at 1880 Newport Street. Music coming from the third floor of the apartment building could be heard at the front entrance of the apartment building. Officer knocked loudly, no response, waited for a lull in the booming bass and knocked again. The renter turned down the music, came to the door and apologized for the music, stating he has never been in trouble with the law. Warned for loud music.
On Nov. 20, at 5:01 p.m. there was a report of a log splitter stolen from outside a business building in the 5100 block of Oak Street. A 23-year-old Greenfield male arrested for the theft. Charges pending.
On Nov. 27, at 11:04 p.m. an animal owner reported his boxer mix pit dog was missing on the 1400 block of Rainbow Avenue. The dog was wearing a leopard dog print sweater and a pink collar. Later the animal owner reported he found his dog.
On Nov. 27, at 11:05 p.m. there was a report of three people in their 20s walking around the neighborhood between houses with flashlights in the area of Halgren Road and Joyce Street. Contact with the persons, they were out searching for a friends missing dog.
On Nov. 28, at 8:04 p.m. a Siberian Husky was found on the 1700 block of Howard Avenue. Dog was white and black in color and had a blue collar. Dog left before officer arrival.
On Nov. 29, at 10:05 p.m. a MN License Plate was found in the parking lot of Blackwater Coffee & Café, 5159 Highway 12.
On Nov. 30, at 8:14 a.m. an owner reported a stray cat in his garage was fighting with his cat on the 1800 block of Meadow Lane. The stray had left before officer arrival.
During Nov. 16 to 30, WHPS had 279 police contacts, 96 traffic stops resulting in 27 citations, 54 verbal warnings and 15 written warnings.
