Front Porch Musical Theatre is a family-oriented musical theatre company for students ages 4-18, located in the northwest suburbs. Each semester students learn drama, choreography and vocal skills and finish with a full-stage production complete with lights, costumes and make-up. This semester our 12-18 year-olds are rehearsing to perform “Annie Jr.” For the first time, there are two different casts, each with 44 students, rehearsing together and performing eight shows on the weekend of Dec. 5-8. This will be a fantastic, fun and affordable outing for families, students and seniors to get out and celebrate Annie, an orphan in the Great Depression whose optimistic attitude keeps her focused on “tomorrow.”
Performances of “Annie Jr.” are at the Brooklyn Center High School Auditorium located at 6500 Humboldt Ave N. in Brooklyn Center.
Two performances are held daily at 3 p.m. and at 7 p.m. beginning Thursday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 8. Ticket prices range from $4 to $12 depending on how many adults (ages 18-64), seniors (65+) and children (ages 3-17) attend. Evening ticket prices are higher than day time shows.
There are group discounts of $2 off per ticket for groups of 15 or more for all full-price Saturday and Sunday matinees and evening shows.
