Clayton Schad

age 84, of Eden Prairie passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2013 at Golden Living Center in St. Louis Park, where he received wonderful care by the entire staff.
Born in Appleton, MN, he grew up in Stillwater, where he was a member of the band, lettered in four sports and was President of his Senior Class. He attended the U of M studying agriculture where he met Norma Miller, his wife of 63 years. He was a well-liked and respected chicken and dairy farmer in Osseo for 25 years and received the annual Outstanding Young Farmer award for the state of Minnesota. He and Norma spent the next 25 years developing a successful Shaklee business where he made many great friends. His Christian faith, integrity, humor, and work ethic were all important in his life.
He will live on in the memory of his wife Norma, five children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild along with his brother Ronald, sister Carol, and many cousins. He was the brother of the late Kenneth, Hila, and Betty.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at 11AM on December 6th at Living Word Church, 9201 75th Ave. North, Brooklyn Park. A luncheon will follow the service.
