Osseo Police Report

The following is a synopsis of some of the police incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Nov. 1 through 14.

Arrests

Osseo Police arrested a 27 year old Plymouth women Nov. 2 for gross misdemeanor 3rd degree DWI, misdemeanor open bottle, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. Police stopped the women for a speeding violation on County 81. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 47 year old Osseo woman for gross misdemeanor 5th degree domestic assault after police responded to a report of a physical domestic on Nov. 3rd on the 100 block of 7th Ave SE. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 13 year juvenile male Nov. 4 on the 300 block of 6th Ave NE for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. The incident with the teen is being investigated by Hennepin County Juvenile Division, Osseo Police, and Osseo Schools.

Osseo Police arrested a 31 year old Minneapolis man on Nov. 8th on County 81 from driving without a valid license and no insurance on his vehicle. He was released with a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

A 22 year old Anoka man was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly conduct after Osseo Police responded to a report of several people fighting and yelling on the 200 block of 1st Ave NW Nov. 10. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Incidents

Osseo Police took a property damage report to a parked vehicle Nov. 3 at the Osseo J.H. Photos were taken of the damage and a report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a customer trouble at a business Nov. 7 on the 50 block of 2nd Street NW. Police were able to mediate the situation. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 600 block of 2nd Ave NW Nov. 7. Police were able to mediate a solution and neither party wished to press charges.

Osseo Police took a theft by swindle report Nov. 9 from a business on the 600 block of Central Ave. The case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Detectives.

Osseo Police took a property damage report Nov. 12 on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy. The victim reported somebody drilled a hole into the gas tank and removed fuel. There are no suspects. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police identified two males inside of a vehicle in a parking lot of a closed business on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy on Nov. 13 that may have been looking to take scrap metal. There are no charges at this time.

Osseo Police responded to a report of two suspicious males lurking behind a business on the 200 block of Central Ave. on Nov. 13. There are no criminal charges at this time.

Medicals

Osseo Police responded to a 59 year old female that had a possible broken leg Nov. 3 on the 500 block of 2nd Street SE. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a adult male that had fallen in the bathroom Nov. 6 on the 500 block of 2nd Street SE. He was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 81 year old female that had fallen Nov. 7 on the 50 block of 6th Street NE. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 93 year old female feeling dizzy Nov. 9 on the 500 block of 2nd Street SE. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Crashes

Osseo Police responded to a 2 car property damage crash on County 81 & 3rd Street SE Nov. 1. Both drivers exchanged information and one vehicle was towed. A state accident report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a 3 car property damage crash on County 81 & Jefferson Highway Nov. 1. All drivers exchanged information. A state accident report was filed.

Osseo Police responded to a 2 car personal injury crash on County 81 & 3rd Street SE Nov. 7. One driver had minor injuries but refused transport to the hospital. Both drivers exchange information and both vehicles were towed. A state accident report was filed.
