The following contains a sample of calls reported by Rogers Police from Monday, Oct. 28, through Sunday, Nov. 3.

 

Monday, Oct. 28

 

Nicholas Keppel, 24, was cited for false information to officer of court regarding vehicle insurance, and no motor vehicle insurance, at Main Street and 141st Avenue.

 

Officer responded to take a burglary report at 21262 Goldenroad Lane. The homeowner is unsure when items were taken over the summer. It may be as long as June, or as recent as the middle of October.

 

Officer responded to a multi vehicle crash with unknown injuries at Main Street and I-94. Located three vehicles involved in a property damage crash. Two vehicles towed from the scene. Josephy Hannay, 19, was cited for inattentive driving. State accident report was completed.

 

Officers dispatched to a two vehicle personal injury auto crash at Brockton Lane and South Diamond Lake Road. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash. Appeared that the driver of one vehicle had a medical event prior to the crash. Driver transported to North. State Report required-see reports. Photos taken at scene. State report mailed to both drivers.

 

Officers responded to a suspicious activity call regarding the caller who could see flashlights in the woods behind her house at 123rd Avenue. Called and spoke with the complainant while en route who advised they came into her property at one point. Officers stopped and identified the males who claimed to be looking for a deer they shot with a bow earlier. One of the males smelled of alcohol and lived nearby. They did not have any visible weapons with them. Officers explained to them the reason for the contact.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 29

 

Caller reported that her mailbox was just struck by an unknown vehicle at 22580 Linden Dr. She heard the crash and when she looked outside her mailbox was gone. She thought the suspect vehicle and box might still be in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located the mailbox and pole in the ditch. It appears the suspects vehicle is possibly a SUV or smaller pick-up and light in color. No vehicle parts were left at the scene. Vehicle will have damage to the front end of the vehicle. Area was checked, but was unable to locate the vehicle.

 

Officer took a stolen auto report at Ryder Transportation. Employees reported that a Freightliner tractor truck was missing from the lot in Rogers and suspected that it was stolen. The vehicle was entered as stolen by the Hennepin County Clerk after the report was taken.

 

Mika Osborn, 19, was cited for revoked license at Territorial Road and Tucker Road.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 30

 

Officers responded to a two vehicle personal injury crash at Main Street and County Rd. 81. One female passenger had possible minor injuries and was checked out by North paramedics, but was not transported to the hospital. Heidi Slanga, 37, received a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of brass knuckles. Another person involved in the crash, Ryan Schoenike, 20, was arrested for an Anoka County warrant and was transported to jail.

 

Thursday, Oct. 31

 

Damage to property. Two vehicles had tires slashed and windshields shattered sometime between 12:30 and 6 a.m. Thursday at 23468 128th Ave. Estimate of damage is over $1.000.

 

Bryan Kestner, 34, was arrested for theft at Cabela’s

 

Friday, Nov. 1

 

Samantha Kormanik, 24, was cited for no motor vehicle insurance at South Diamond Lake Road and Commerce Boulevard.

 

Michael Chapeau, 29, was cited for inattentive driving personal injury crash at Main Street and I-94.

 

Two Black Males and two Black Females passed three counterfeit 20 dollar bills at Walgreen’s. One black male was accompanied by a female child. The parties left together in a white two door car.

 

Andrew Delong, 23, was cited for driving after revocation and display revoked plates at Brockton Avenue and County Rd. 81.

 

Saturday, Nov. 2

 

Officers responded to a call of a hit deer blocking the roadway on I-94 west of Main Street, which motorists were swerving to avoid. At the scene another motorist had swerved to avoid the deer and went into the ditch. Officers found that the driver had a warrant and he was arrested. Jeremiah Thompson, 22, was turned over to the custody of the State Patrol because the location was in Wright County. Officers cleared the roadway of the deer carcass.

 

Jerimiah Hippen, 35, was cited for driving after revocation from result of property damage auto crash at Industrial Boulevard and Veit Place.

 

Felony theft, party has stole numerous items from Cabela’s on different occasions. Last theft was Nov. 2 of over $600 (Fish Sonar Unit). Bryan Christopher, 43, was transported to Hennepin County Jail by Rogers PD.

 

Theft GM/underage alcohol possession was reported at 21985 South Diamond Lake Road. Cited was Rebecca Morreim, 20. Arrested was Madeline Crego, 20.

 

Sunday, Nov. 3

 

Officer observed two males passed out inside of running vehicle at Bittersweet Avenue and Commerce Boulevard. Officer could smell marijuana from outside the vehicle. Officer woke up the driver and waited for backup. Officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as a replica firearm. Cited was Jose Cabrera Jr., 18.
