Congratulations to four recognized educational support staff members — Scott Larson, Sally Heikkinen, Michelle Friedrich and Paula Wanous.

These four individuals were selected last spring for their outstanding work helping and supporting the students of Rockford. They were recognized at an Educational Support Staff Recognition Banquet held in September in St. Cloud.

The Educational Support Staff Recognition Event is an opportunity to recognize and honor school support personnel who go above and beyond their required duties. Each participating member school district can determine their selection committee and is responsible for establishing its own selection procedures. Support staff could include custodians, office support, paraprofessionals, assistants, etc.

Scott Larson works as a custodian; Sally Heikkinen currently works as a paraprofessional; Michelle Friedrich works as the principal’s secretary at the Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School; and Paula Wanous works as an account clerk. The event is sponsored by Resource Training and Solutions in St. Cloud.
