Choirboys/men’s chorus

NOV. 2 — All are invited to a concert presented by the Land of Lakes Choirboys and the Land of Lakes Men’s Chorus at Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7180 Hemlock Lane N., Maple Grove. The concert will feature works by Dvorak, Jennings, Paulus and Faure. This performance was envisioned to be a reflection on the memories of loved ones who have passed away. WomenSource Fundraiser Breakfast

NOV. 3 — A fundraiser breakfast will be held Sunday, Nov. 3 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul school cafeteria and gym. The net proceeds will be donated to WomenSource, a non-profit pregnancy center that provides free pregnancy tests and counseling, diapers, formula, clothing, and an “Earn while you Learn” client incentive program. NOV. 8  — The Legion Riders will be serving a fish and steak dinner Friday, Nov. 8, at the Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion located at 260 Fourth Ave., Osseo. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost for a steak or fish or shrimp dinner will be $10. For a steak and shrimp combo the cost would be $12 per person. Guys and Dolls

NOV. 8 & 9 – The Maple Grove Crimson fall musical this year is Guys and Dolls to premiere the weekend of Nov. 8 and 9. Performances begin at 7 p.m. in the Maple Grove Senior High Auditorium. Sleigh Bells/parade

DEC. 7 — Join Maple Grove Community Organization, Arbor Lakes Business Association and other Maple Grove businesses as they bring the holiday season off to a grand start with the Hometown Holiday on Main Street and Sleigh Bells & Sparkle Parade Saturday, Dec. 7. The holiday fun begins at 4 p.m. and runs through to 8 p.m. at the Arbor Lakes Business Association’s annual Hometown Holiday on Main Street with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, music on the Plaza at the North End of Main Street, treats, contests, carriage rides and surprises. Stick around as Santa joins the ranks in the fourth annual Sleigh Bells & Sparkle Parade. Come line up to watch the parade units as their lights sparkle and twinkle in the evening sky beginning at 5 p.m., viewing area is on Main Street from the corner of Schuler Shoes/Chico’s continuing around the corner on Arbor Lakes Parkway to the Government Center parking lot entrance.

DEC. 7 —  Santa is planning a visit to the Maple Grove Community Center Saturday, Dec. 7. Maple Grove Community Organization, Maple Grove Lions will once again host a Breakfast/Lunch with Santa. Families are invited to spend the morning having a relaxing breakfast or lunch before sharing their list of wishes with Santa. You may bring your own camera for your memory photo with Santa, Maple Grove Ambassadors will provide camera assistance for a family photo with Santa or pictures will be taken by Flash Portraits and available to purchase at their store.
