Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from October 4th through October 17th, 2013.

Arrests:

A 36 year old Minneapolis man was arrested October 17th on the 8800 block of Jefferson Hwy for a violation of an order for protection.  He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Incedents:

A theft of a cell phone was filed with Osseo Police on October 4th on the 300 block of 2nd Ave NW.

A theft of a grill cover was reported to Osseo Police on October 6th on the 100 block of Celtic Crossing

Osseo Police responded to a fight on the 300 block of 6th Ave NE on October 7th.  The incident is being investigated by the Osseo Police, Osseo School district, and Hennepin County Juvenile Court.

Osseo Police responded to an unwanted person at a business on the 300 block of 5th Ave SE.  The incident was resolved without charges.

Osseo Police responded to a suspicious person on the 600 block of 2nd Street SE that appeared to be looking in windows with a flashlight.  An extensive search for the suspect was done however he was not located.

Osseo Police responded to a burglar alarm on the 100 block of Country Rd 81 on October 12th.  No problems were found.

A burglary was reported on October 13th from a garage on the 50 block of 6th Ave NE.  Items were removed from a refrigerator.  The case is under investigation by the Hennepin County Detectives.

Osseo Police responded to 300 block of 6th Ave Ne for a theft of two license plates.  There are no suspects.  The plates have been entered into a nationwide database as stolen.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 56 year old male having a possible heart attack at a business on the 100 block of Central Ave on October 10th.  He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 85 year old male unable to speak and feeling ill on the 50 block of 6th Street NE.  He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 63 year old male having shoulder pain on the 200 block of 3rd Ave NE on October 12th.  He was transported Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 82 year old male having difficulty breathing on the 600 block of Central Ave.  He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 98 year old female having a possible heart attack on the 100 block of 3rd Street NW on October 16th.  She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 51 year old male that had fallen down and injured bones on October 16th.  He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 82 year old female with severe pain on the 600 block of Central Ave on October 16th.  She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 56 year old male having a seizure on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on October 16th.  He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 41 year old female having a possible stroke on the 100 block of Broadway Street W on October 17th.  She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 76 year old female having severe abdominal pain on the 50 block of 6th Street NE.  She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

A car versus pedestrian injury accident occurred on October 7th on the 8800 block of Jefferson Hwy.  The pedestrian was transported to North Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  Both parties involved exchanged information.   There are no criminal charges pending.

A 2 car property damage accident occurred on October 7th at 4th Street NE & Central Ave.  Both driver exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.

A 2 car property damage accident occurred on October 12th on the 300 block of County Road 81.  One driver had a revoked license and no insurance.  A citation was issued and the vehicle was impounded.   A state accident report was filed.
