The Maple Grove Arts Center is hosting the Monster Art Show and Zombie Pub Krawl on October 26, 2013. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. is the Fall Festival on Main Street. Children trick or treating on Main Street will be able to go to the arts center and create a Halloween Mask. This is a Free event. Then continuing with the Halloween Festival there will be a Monster Art Show opening reception and monster artwork on display at the arts center. Zombies can stop by and view the art and enjoy free wine and food before heading out for the Zombie Pub Krawl. Budweiser, Minneapolis NW Convention & Visitor’s Bureau and 14 restaurants and pubs in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, The Fountains at Arbor Lakes and Arbor Lakes Main Street sponsor the Zombie Pub Krawl.
A trolley will be available for Zombies to travel to all areas where restaurants are participating. The Trolley will run 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Also, the Hampton Inn is offering $88 rooms for October 26. The Hampton Inn is on the Trolley route. A map of the Trolley route will be available soon, signage will indicate Zombie Pub Krawl Trolley.
The Fall Festival is held on Main Street. This is a free event for children. There will be mask making at the Maple grove Arts Center from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Monster Art Show is a free, open reception from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Zombies and Monsters are invited to come dressed for a costume contest and other ghoulish games available. See art like you have never seen before—art specifically about monsters.
The Zombie Pub Krawl costs $20. Pub Krawlers will receive a Toe Tag and T-Shirt. Pre sign up is required to benefit from all the Zombie contests. Win prizes and enter a costume contest at each restaurant. Sign up is at every location. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. join us for the Walking Dead Photo Op at Wild Bill’s, Zombies will crawl up to the Maple Grove Arts Center.
