The Delano Senior Dining Program is open Monday through Friday, serving meals at noon. The Dining Site serves Seniors age 60 and over and is sponsored by Catholic Charities Senior Dining.
Registration is not required but diners are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m. Groups of four or more are asked to call ahead to register. Meals on Wheels is also available to homebound seniors. Call 763-972-0574. Transportation is available on a wheelchair lift equipped van by calling River Rider at 763-263-0101.
Light Side menu option is discontinued until April 2014.
THURSDAY, OCT. 17: Chicken marinara, egg noodles, Italian lettuce salad, green and wax beans, sugar cookie.
FRIDAY, OCT. 18: Breaded fish, rice pilaf, creamed peas, peaches, ice cream.
MONDAY, OCT. 21: Hamburger on a bun, baked beans, country trio vegetables, raspberry parfait.
TUESDAY, OCT. 22: October Fest. Bavarian pork roast with raisin gravy. Parslied potatoes. Sweet and sour red cabbage. Rye bread. Sliced apples with caramel sauce.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23: Roast turkey. Whipped potatoes with gravy. Broccoli raisin salad. Wheat bread. Cranapple crunch.
THURSDAY, OCT. 24: Swedish meatballs. Paprika potatoes. Baked squash. Wheat bread. Frosted cake.
FRIDAY, OCT. 25: Hearty stew. French bread. Seven layer salad. Peanut butter bar.
