The 21 annual “Rebel Classic” event was held Saturday, Oct. 5 in the Champlin Park High School gymnasium. The event featured high school bands from Blaine, Andover, Valley High, Anoka, Eastview, Eden Prairie and Rosemount. Together, the Marching Rebels and the Jackson Middle School band performed their show, “The Legacy” inspired by the Godfather Trilogy. Each band was judged and given a score by six judges in the categories visual general effects, music and visual execution, general effects, percussion and color guard. Here, the Andover Marching Huskies color guard performs their choreographed routine as the band plays their line-up “Distant Tides.”

The Eastview Marching Band was the first to perform for the night. At Saturdays show, they performed their production, Gothic Angels, based on “Angels in the Architecture” by Frank Ticheli.
