Hennepin County Sheriff Report: Rockford/ Greenfield

Rockford 

On Sept. 18 deputies responded to an address in the 8004 block of Hwy. 55 on a medical. A 62-year old fell and was unconscious. Rockford Fire arrived and administered first aid. North Paramedics transported the victim to Buffalo Hospital. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 26 deputies responded to an address in the 8800 block of Vernon Street on a welfare check. The deputy made contact with the victim and learned she was doing okay. The reporting party was advised. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 27 deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Hwy. 55 on a medical. The deputy arrived and started oxygen on the victim. Upon Rockford Fire’s arrival, the victim began breathing. Rockford Fire took over care and North Memorial Ambulance transported the victim to the hospital. No other action was needed.

Greenfield 

On Sept. 16 deputies responded to an address in the 5000 block of Country Circle for a theft report. The reporting party reported receiving a phone call from a business in California in regards to a purchase of $546.00. The reporting party never ordered anything and cancelled the order.

On Sept. 17 deputies responded to the area of Hwy. 55 and County 92 to a property damage accident report. The deputy assisted in exchanging the driver’s information. One of the driver’s was driving after suspension and was cited for that offense. A State Accident report was completed. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 18 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 for a gas drive off report. An employee reported the driver of a red Toyota put $25.05 worth of gas into the vehicle and did not pay for it. The deputy made contact with the driver who was advised to return to the business and pay for the bill. The deputy later learned the bill was paid for. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 19 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 for a gas drive off report. An employee reported the driver of a silver Toyota put $20.00 worth of gas into the vehicle and did not pay for it. The deputy made contact with the driver who was not aware of the mistake. The driver agreed to return to the business to take care of his bill. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 20 deputies responded to an address in the 7600 block of 69th Avenue North on a medical. A 42-year old male was having chest pains. Ridge View Ambulance arrived and transported the victim to HCMC for further evaluation. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 20 deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Hwy. 55 for a property damage accident report. The deputy made contact with both drivers, both declined medical attention. Both drivers exchanged information. A State Accident report was completed. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 21 deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Hwy. 55 for a property damage accident report. The reporting party reported his vehicle was hit sometime on Sept. 20 and Sept. 21. The vehicle was parked in a parking spot. The deputy observed damages to the vehicle. A follow up report was made after the reporting party reported his neighbor’s vehicle had damages to it. The deputy made contact with the suspect and advised him of the incident. The suspect was not aware of the accident but stated he probably hit the vehicle without knowing it. A State Accident report was completed. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 21 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 for a gas drive off report. An employee reported the driver of a silver SUV put $75.32 worth of gas into the vehicle and drove off. The deputy ran the information provided by the employee and it did not match the records. No other suspect information. No other action was taken.

On Sept. 23 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 on a gas drive off report. An employee reported someone put $42.77 worth of gas into a black Honda and did not pay for it. The deputy was unable to make contact with the registered owner. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detective is investigating.

On Sept. 24 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 for a gas drive off report. An employee reported someone put $48.41 worth of gas into a gray Lexus and drove off. The deputy made contact with the registered owner who agreed to contact the business to take care of the bill. No other action was needed.

On Sept. 25 deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Hwy. 55 for a gas drive off report. An employee reported someone put $32.74 worth of gas into a vehicle and drove off. A deputy made contact with a possible suspect who denied being at the business. The deputy returned to the business and advised them the information provided was incorrect. No other action was taken.

On Sept. 26 deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Hwy. 55 on a suspicious vehicle report. Upon the deputy’s arrival, the vehicles were gone. The deputy advised the reporting party to contact police again if he sees anything suspicious. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detective will be notified of this incident.

On Sept. 29 deputies responded to an address in the 6300 block of Town Hall Drive for an alarm. Upon the deputy’s arrival, all doors and windows were secure. There were no signs of entry. The deputy was able to reset the alarm. No other action was taken.
