Studying the U.S. Constitution: ‘It’s never irrelevant’

In recognition of U.S. Constitution Day, students in Meg Thompson’s Osseo Senior High AP Government class embark on a U.S. Constitution scavenger hunt.

“Studying the Constitution is important because it directly applies to these students, from the amendments to change the voting age to current events,” said Thompson.

She continued, “Practically every news story references back to the Constitution whether discussing what powers are involved in decision making to what laws apply to a situation. It is never irrelevant.”

Constitution Day was Tuesday, Sept. 17.
