Chaplain Maj. Buddy Winn, the state support chaplain for the U.S. Army National Guard, will be the guest speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 26, Osseo Community Prayer Breakfast.
“Community Renewal and Prayer” is the theme of this fourth annual event from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the Osseo American Legion Hall, 260 Fourth Ave. S.E. in Osseo.
A resident of Osseo, Chaplain Winn served two combat tours of duty in the Middle East and has returned to work with the military overseas several more times. He enlisted in the National Guard in 1988 and entered the Army Chaplaincy in October 2003.

Osseo Community Prayer Breakfast is an event organized in 2010 that brings together local men and women from government, business, education and religion to acknowledge God’s protection and guidance over the community.
A portion of this year’s prayer breakfast proceeds will go to Families Moving Forward, an organization working to end homelessness one family at a time.
