During all of July and August, CROSS partnered with the Rotary Club of Northwest Hennepin County for our annual school supply drive. The  Rotary Club was instrumental in us providing backpacks to over 800 children in the community, with over $8,000 in donations collected  and many school supplies obtained by the community.

The Northwest Hennepin County Rotary Club was founded in 2010 and is made up of local business professionals and community leaders dedicated to making the world a better place. They are in place to encourage networking while at the same time providing a helping hand to their local community. The Rotary Club was instrumental in networking and providing CROSS with valuable contacts that are now assisting CROSS. Without their time and hard work this fundraiser would not have been able to help nearly as many people as it did.

In addition to the support of the Rotary Club of Northwest Hennepin County, CROSS received numerous generous donations from several community donors, including churches, businesses and local residents.

With the school supplies that have been raised, students in need can return to their classrooms equipped for success.

Now based in Rogers, CROSS is the sole food shelf servicing Corcoran, Dayton, Maple Grove, Osseo, Rogers and west Champlin. For more information, contact CROSS at 763-425-1050 or visit website at CROSSservices.org.
