Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Aug. 3, 2013 through Sept. 5, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 32-year-old Minneapolis woman for third degree DWI on Aug. 24. She was transported to the Hennepin County Jail for booking.

Osseo Police arrested a 61-year-old Maple Grove female on Aug. 27 on the 300 block of Central Avenue for larceny. She was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 17-year-old Osseo male on Aug. 29 on the 400 block of Second Avenue N.E. for domestic assault. He was transported to the Hennepin County Juvenile Center in Minneapolis.

Osseo Police arrested a 66-year-old Brooklyn Park woman on Aug. 31 on the 500 block of Fourth Street S.E. for fourth degree DWI. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to a report of a customer causing a disturbance at a business on the 200 block of County Road 81 on Aug. 25. The incident was mediated by police and no charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on Aug. 26 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. No problems were found.

A theft of a bicycle was reported on Aug. 26 from the 300 block of Central Ave. There are no suspects.

A theft from auto was reported on Aug. 29 from a parked car parked on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. N.E. A portable GPS was taken. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a loud party complaint on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on Aug. 30. The party goers were advised keep it down. No charges are pending.

An open door to a closed business was found by Osseo Police Aug. 31 on the 200 block of Central Ave. A search of the building was done and no problems were found. The building was secured.

Osseo Police located doors unsecure to two businesses on Aug. 31 on the 50 block of Second Street N.E. The buildings were checked and secured. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on Sept. 1 on the 400 block of First Ave. N.E. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a intrusion alarm on Sept. 1 on the 200 block of First Ave. N.E. No problems were found. A key holder responded to secure the building.

Osseo Police responded to an intrusion alarm on Sept. 3 on the 200 block of Central Ave. The building was checked and no problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on Sept. 4 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. No problems were found.

A wallet was reported stolen from the Osseo Senior High School on Sept. 5. There are no suspects. The case is under investigation by the school resource officer.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old female with severe back pain on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 23. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old female that fell and hit her head on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Aug. 24. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 11-year-old male in pain after a sports related injury at the Osseo High School on Aug. 24. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 9-year-old male that cut himself and was injured on Aug. 24 on the 200 block of Sixth Ave. S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 56-year-old male having pain on the 500 block of Second Street N.E. on Aug. 26. He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 44-year-old female that had fallen on Sept. 1 on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 98-year-old female with blood pressure issues on the 100 block of Third Street N.W. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 55-year-old female that had fallen on the 100 block of Broadway Street West on Sept. 4. She was transported to the hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

A two-car property damage accident was reported on Aug. 22 on the 50 block of Central Ave. A state accident report was filed. No charges are pending.
