Osseo boys’ soccer off to great start

It’s only five games into the 2013 season and the Osseo High boys’ soccer team has already exceeded last year’s win total.

After routing Rogers 8-2 last week, the Orioles are 3-1-1. In 2012, they won just one game because a late coaching change resulted in many players not coming out for the team. With more time to organize, second-year head coach Jean-Yves Viardin is able to field a competitive squad this season.

The Orioles next host Park Center Thursday, Sept. 12.
