Osseo edges Maple Grove in boys’ soccer

Bashiru Kormah scored late in the game to lift visiting Osseo to a 2-1 win against Maple Grove in Northwest Suburban Conference boys’ soccer action Aug. 27.

The win improved Osseo’s record to 2-0. They routed St. Michael-Albertville 8-1 in the season opener as six different players scored. Nathan Lung and Ernest Nornie each scored twice and Kormah, Gabriel Galamue, Isaac Paye and Patrick Paye netted one each.

Osseo next visits Rogers Saturday, Sept. 7.
