Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Aug. 9, 2013 through Aug. 22, 2013.

 

Arrests:

A 48-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on Aug. 12 for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI on 85th Ave. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was also impounded.

A 17-year-old juvenile male from Brooklyn Center and a 16-year-old juvenile male from Champlin were arrested on the 100 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 14 for probable cause auto theft. Both males were taken into custody without incident and were transported to the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center in Minneapolis. The case is currently under investigation by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detectives and the Osseo Police.

Osseo Police arrested a 25-year-old Minneapolis man on Aug. 16 for an outstanding Hennepin County warrant on the 100 block of Central Ave. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested an 18-year-old female from Minneapolis on Aug. 20 on 85th Ave. for driving after suspension and a improper turn.  Her vehicle was impounded and she was released with a citation.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to a disturbance on the 100 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 10 between two persons. The issue was mediated by police resolved without incident. No charges are pending.

An open door to a business was found by Osseo Police on the 50 block of Second Street N.E. on Aug. 12. The building was checked and the door was secured.

A bicycle was reported stolen out of a open garage on the 50 block of Fourth Ave. N.E. on Aug. 12. A bicycle theft report was filed. A witness was able to provide a suspect description. The case is under investigation by Osseo Police.

An open door to a business was found by Osseo Police on the 200 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 13. The building was locked by a key holder.

A noise complaint was reported at the Osseo High School on Aug. 15. Parties involved were advised to keep the noise down. No charges are pending.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 47-year-old female having a possible heart attack on Aug. 12 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 3-year-old male that fell down and was bleeding from his head on the 200 block of Second Street S.E. on Aug. 13. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 92-year-old female feeling ill after a fall on Aug. 20 on the 100 block of Fifth Ave. N.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two car property damage accident on the 8700 block of Jefferson Hwy. on Aug. 13. Both drivers exchanged information and both vehicles were drivable.

Osseo Police responded to a two car property damage accident at Seventh Street N.W. and First Ave. N.W. on Aug. 17. Both drivers exchanged information and both vehicles were drivable.

Osseo Police responded to a two car property damage accident on the 50 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 22. A state accident report was filed.
