On Friday, Aug. 2, at 10:10 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 24, Kari Opheim Lundell, 31, of Plymouth was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .08.
On Wednesday, July 31, on the 4600 block of Wichita Tr., a burglary was reported. The loss is undetermined.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 9:39 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $10.01.
On Friday, Aug. 2, at 8:15 a.m. on the 300 block of Bergamot Dr., there was a report of a purse/wallet having been taken form a car.
On Friday, Aug. 2, at 5:26 p.m. on the 4500 block of Medina Lake Dr., there was a burglary of an attached garage. A purse was taken from a vehicle.
On Monday, July 29, at 6:25 a.m. on the 00 block of Highway 55, a homeowner reported a dead wolf at the end of his driveway. MnDot was requested to pick up the carcass, which determined it was a coyote.
On Wednesday, July 31, at 9:59 a.m. on the 500 block of Highway 55, it was reported that there was a vehicle parked sideways in the Medina Entertainment parking lot. A note was located on the vehicle stating that it would not start and that someone would come back and pick it up shortly. The business owner told officer that he would have the vehicle towed if it wasn’t removed by Saturday.
On Wednesday, July 31, at 10:31 a.m. on the 100 block of Hamel Rd., there was a report that a counterfeit $10 bill was deposited by a Medina business. The bill will be forwarded to the Secret Service.
On Wednesday, July 31, at 2 p.m. on the 4600 block of Medina Lake Dr., a homeowner reported receiving a possible e-mail scam/solicitation, and requested extra patrol.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 10:25 officers observed a stalled car. The registered owner advised that a tow truck was en route.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 5:35 p.m. on the 5100 block of County Rd. 101, there was a call made by a concerned citizen regarding traffic issues in the parking lot. Officer monitored the parking lot for a short time and did not observe any problems.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 6:08 at County Rd. 101 and Highway 55, officer responded to a stalled vehicle that was blocking traffic. The vehicle was moved out of traffic and the driver was able to get it started.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 11:59 p.m. on the 600 block of Hamel Rd. there was a report of a noise disturbance. Officer was able to make contact with a person who was cleaning the floors of a business with the cleaning unit in the van. The unit was loud. The cleaner thought the area was commercial and was unaware of residents in the area. He told officer that he would shut down for the night.
On Friday, Aug. 2, at 11:40 a.m. on the 3400 block of Leawood Dr., there was a report of a female on the premise that was not allowed to be. The female was located and asked to leave.
On Friday, Aug. 2, at 12:06 p.m. on the 2400 block of Holy Name Dr., there as a report of a mailbox that had sustained damage sometime overnight.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 4:06 p.m. there was a report of “dumping”. A television had been left at an apartment dumpster.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 12:09 p.m. at Highway 55 and Pinto Dr., there was a report of an injured coyote. It appeared to have been hit by a car and was dispatched.
On Sunday, Aug. 4, at 12:28 a.m. on the 700 block of Hamel Rd., there was a verbal domestic.
