The Champlin City Council will meet Monday, Aug. 26 in the council chambers. There will be an Economic Development Authority work session at 5:45 p.m. in the Mayor and City Council Conference Room. The council will review the market rate apartment site and discuss the Mississippi Crossings project.
The council will then convene at 7:00 p.m. There will be announcements reminding residents that city hall will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2 for the Labor Day Holiday. Also the Champlin farmer’s market will be held every Wednesday through Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the ice forum parking lot. Under special presentations there will be an overview of the work session discussion. And open forum will be held after the special presentations. New business includes approving a conditional use permit for the Harstad property and a trail repositioning and resolution vacating the easement at 6703, 6711 and 6719 at 119th Place North.
The next council work session is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 9 at 5:45 p.m. in the city council conference room and following the work session, the regularly scheduled council meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m.
